    Cette section regroupe des add-ons gratuits d'améliorations de terrain pour Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 et 2024, développés par des créateurs de la communauté du monde entier. Les améliorations de terrain se concentrent sur la correction et l'amélioration des données d'élévation du sol, des masques d'eau et de la précision des surfaces qui sous-tendent chaque vol dans le simulateur — corrigeant des problèmes tels que des rivières flottant au-dessus de leurs vallées, des lacs à des altitudes incorrectes, des abords d'aéroports s'enfonçant dans le relief, des côtes inexactes et des anomalies de photogrammétrie que le simulateur par défaut laisse non résolues.
