    Description

    Andorra, a small country nestled in the steep valleys of the pyrenees. The terrain leaves no space for an airport. Aviation can only be conducted by helicopter. So the 'Andorra International Aiport" is right next to it in the neighbouring country, Spain. Andorra - La Seu d'Urgell airport was part of the Iberia World Update and got a little messed up with the introduction of the new Bing photogrammetry.

    I did my best to clean up the areas where it was visible, improving windsocks and vegetation on the way and bringing the airport to the actual state. A couple of hangars are missing in Asobo's representation, so I added them. On top I introduced more detail like people, tables, antennas, night lighting and the off-airport helipad. You can now start here for a 15 minute hop to Andorra's Cami heliport. A scenery mod for Cami heliport is available here on flightsim.to.

    There are optional static aircraft for MSFS 2020 and 2024. I offer them in seperate folders, so you can decide to put them in or leave them out if they collide with your traffic addon or you prefer an empty apron. Only use the respective version for your sim, not both.

    This mod was built in the 2020 SDK, so it's not possible to adress sim objects for 2024. That's why I checked the best alternative for static traffic, which is the Totof-libraries. Please install the Totof-Helicopter and Aircraft-libraries, if you want to see static traffic in 2024. 2020-users don't need them.

    Compatibility

    This mod is only for the Asobo-version of the airport. It is not compatible with other payware. It is tested and works fine in 2020 and 2024.

    Installation

    Unzip the files into your community folder. Use only one of the two optional static folders, depending on the version of the sim you use. 2024-users will also need the two Totof-libraries given below if they want to see static aircraft and helicopters.

    Please do have all World Updates installed. Aerosoft Paderborn is recommended but not required as it accounts for only one minor object. Other than that, check the dependencies below.

    Hi! Thanks for asking but I'm afraid not. Creating scenery takes a lot of time. I can't even count the hours it took, to create my airports of e.g. Apia of Freetown. It's dozens. If you expect handcrafted buildings, it's certainly hundreds. Nothing you can buy with 10 bucks. But I cross my fingers, that somebody else will take it up. Good luck!

    Well, I don't want that extreme realism that requires those many hours. In fact, this airport in the sim is only a runway and basically it's unrealistic. All I want from you is to modify the ILS of the runway because it's inaccurate in addition to parking, taxyways lights and runway. This is what needs to be modified while the buildings I don't want them to be 100% realistic, but I just want buildings similar to reality. I don't mind being virtual. That's all I want because this will make a huge difference because there is no developer for this airport except the 2020 version of one of the developers, which is a very bad version. In addition, I agree to increase the money to $15 or $20. This is what I can. I hope you agree.

    Still no, sorry. I checked the airport and if it is suposed to be anything reasonably good, the time needed is immense. I'm really not doing this for money. I wouldn't do it even for 200 bucks. It's just no location where I fly and I have a number of other projects, I'm much more interested in.

    Static Bell helicopters don't appear in the 2024 version; only the workers are visible.
    I don't know if this is my mistake or an incompatibility with FS2024.

    It would be great if you could fix it.

    Hi and thank you for your nice feedback. My scenery does not include the helicopters but adresses what is installed in your sim. Asobo-aircraft are named differently in 2020 and 2024, so they will never show up in 2024, if you are using a 2020-scenery. However Microsoft aircraft have always worked so far, but that might not be the case with the Bell.

    First of all: could you check, if the Bell is installed in your sim? If so, does it include the yellow and red livery you can see in my screenshots?

    Thanks for taking the time to check! Yes, that's probable. But I don't know what name the sim references to and even then I'm not sure I could make it work in the 2020 SDK. So only the DC-3 and the PC-6 work in 2024. However, that brought me to an idea. I'll put the two Bells into the 2020 static addon and create another one for 2024 with planes from a library. They are usually not as good as the Asobo statics but better than nothing.
