    Description

    Toolbar Pushback gives you full control over your pushback! Use Pushback Pre-Planning for automated pushback procedures, or take control yourself and steer the tug with your rudder pedals, joystick, keyboard or mouse and steplessly adjust the tug speed to your liking. All natively from within Flight Simulator without the need for running any apps or alt tabbing out of the sim. Additionally, ground services can be called with a click of a button. Works with all types of aircraft. 

     

    📖 Instructions

     

    A few simple steps to get Toolbar Pushback up and running:

    • Download the latest release of "Toolbar Pushback" 

    • Extract the zip file into the community folder (remove previous version of this add-on before updating!)

    • Press the Pushback Icon in the Flight Simulator Toolbar

    • Enjoy and happy pushbacking! 

     

    Helpful Tips:

    • Alternatively press the classic "shift + p" 

    • Toggle the add-on window by pressing "right ctrl + p" 

    • Note: Make sure no other pushback apps are running, as this may interfere with Toolbar Pushback (thanks to @BlueHomeland for pointing out)

    Bloddy brilliant little thing. Thanks. Only had a weird hiccup a the very start with the A310, and only the A310. I was doing the pre-planning, and after zooming out a bit, the route and the airplane template disappeared. Still did the pushback using the manual option to try it out, usually I use the plane's inbuilt tool, and when I'm about to start taxiing, my Xbox controller's trigger inputs were somehow "inverted" , but only on the ground, rudder was ok, and visually the wheels were not turning that much and to the wrong side. Tried uninstalling the plane and cabin, to no avail. After some time perusing the webs, mainly too see if it was some linux bazzite incompatibility or user error, I saw someone suggesting on another plane with a similar issue to take a look at the EFB. In fact, and only on this plane, the steering was locked, which it wasn't before. Probably the lift option caused some issue. Turned it off, went to the EFB, steering on and restarted the game. It's as good as new. So, in case someone has a similar case, here's a potential fix.

    shit addon, doesn't work when i need it to on vatsim. stops my push halfway through the engine startup. causes traffic to pile up behind me and leaves my to disconnect. fix it. the GUI just goes grey and i can't even cancel it, they buttons aren't clickable.

    There is a problem with this plugin, which only occurs in MSFS 2024 in airports that use custom ground textures. If you try to pre-plan pushback, ground textures do not show at all or show very fragmented, which makes it impossible to plan pushback (since you cannot see where to place aircraft). The problem does not occur in default airports or in 3rd party airports that use Asobo textures. But since most payware airports use custom textures, it's impossible to use pre-planned pushback in them.

    I was initially very impressed with this tool and recommended it to others. Unfortunately, in recent months the reliability has really declined.

    It's unfortunate when a once great product begins underperforming. I'm not sure what changed, but it no longer meets my needs consistently.

    I hope the developers will listen to user feedback and work to improve stability. This tool has a lot of potential if some kinks can be ironed out. Wishing them the best in getting things back on track.

    Hi ! I love this pushback tool escepially because I can pre plan my push and without paying for GSX (wich is very buggy for a payware to me liking...) but I m so disapointed that this has not been updated for awhile and now this tool is very buggy and it s sometimes not working at all. So I understand that the developper has maybie something else to do rather than update a free add on but still it would be great to have an update on this add on to fix all the issues...
