Update for the wonderful Damascus Airport Scenery by HaithamElshazly. The scenery has a few issues that he promised to update but since we haven't heard from him in a while, I did it myself. Hope he is fine and will continue his work on this large and well done airport.

Things improved:

Removed apartment buildings beside the tower, half inside the terminal and further south on the airport area. There are no buildings there in reality.

Removed the three white arcs on the aiport entrance. I checked satellite pictures and they don't exist so I deleted them because they had a bug anyway. However AI-cars now show a weird behaviour in that area as they jump over it. Hope I can do something about it in the future.

Added military aircraft shelters. I know green is not the colour of the desert but for a start I didn't find a good alternative.

Replaced default static aircraft parked on aprons with somehwat nicer models. I'm not a fan of the generic pointed nose light blue A330s.

Depending on the interest in this mod I might do further updates. Please consider this just a quick remedy of the obvious problems with the original scenery, which is otherwise a great job including some beautifully handcrafted buildings. Enjoy the airport!

Installation

Unzip the file into your community folder along with the original Damascus scenery.

Make sure you install the dependencies as listed below.

Also have the Japan World Update installed as well as the free UK2000-library from the Marketplace if you want to see two military C-17.
