- If your addon touches multiple areas (e.g., a scenery pack that includes an airport), pick the most prominent one.

Affiliation
The Affiliation defines which base product or platform your addon is associated with — for example, a specific aircraft model like "Boeing 737-800" or "Fenix A320". Think of it as answering the question: "What does the user need to already own to use this addon"? Affiliations work across categories. A "PMDG 737" affiliation page will show liveries, soundpacks, cockpit mods, and utilities — anything tied to that aircraft, regardless of category.
Tips:
- Select the affiliation that matches the base product your addon requires or enhances.
- If your addon is standalone and doesn't require a specific third-party product, you may not need an affiliation.
- Users frequently browse by affiliation to find everything compatible with their favorite aircraft — a correct affiliation significantly boosts your addon's visibility.
